Job Description

Reporting directly to the owner, the successful candidate will be a very organized and hardworking individual who is eager to demonstrate a willingness to learn and be an integral part of a new and growing company.  It is essential to be able to perform very detailed, specific tasks while be cognizant of the overall big picture and how each part fits together.

As a small company entering its second year in business, we need someone who can succeed in both structured and unstructured environments as processes and procedures are developed. It is an exciting time with the potential and opportunity to grow within the organization.


·         Data entry (into excel and various accounting software)

·         Filing

·         Bank reconciliations

·         Posting journal entries

·         Help create and maintain a procedures database

·         Other projects as needed

Knowledge Required:

·         Excel

·         Basic bookkeeping procedures

Preference given to applicants with Quickbooks and Sage experience. Relevant schooling and/or work experience an asset. However, willing to train the right individual.

A criminal history check will be required for the final candidates. Applicants must be eligible for Skills PEI New Graduate Mentorship Funding
